About Us:-
Bai Najamai Nosherwan Dastur Primary School is a recognized co-educational Primary School founded on 21st Sep 1953 and is a charitable minority institution under the CHARITABLE MINORITY TRUST.
It admits pupils without any distinction of caste, creed, in classes from Pre – Nursery to Std. IV.
The medium of instruction is English and Marathi is a compulsory subject in primary section. Students from Std. I onwards are also introduced to Computer Education.
To inculcate the reading habits in the students, Newspaper in Education (Times of India) has been incorporated as an additional co – curricular activity. We also encourage students to participate in various inter – school competitions as they play an important part in the child’s education and helps to develop physical, moral, aesthetic and intellectual life They are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities.

FINE ARTS:-

The School aims to maintain a “Child-Centered” approach in its functioning. Due to the increased level of competition, life of the children in the present scenario is full of stress. The guidance and counselling centre helps the students to cope with this stress and facilitate an all-round personality growth.
STAFF:-
The School has well educated and trained staff for all the classes. In the Pre – Primary section the class teacher is assisted by an additional co – assistant teacher and an ayah each, so as to meet the requirements of the ‘child centered approach’ followed by the school. The student: teacher ratio in the Nursery section is 40: 2.
TEACHERS' ADVANCEMENT:-
Life is a learning process, and the school organises regular seminars, workshops and reorientation programs for teachers in an endeavor to continuously upgrade their skills, imbibe new techniques as well as exchange experiences and opinions. Emphasis is also given to personality development and communication skills.

Infrastructure
LIBRARY:-
The spacious library has books on a wide variety of subjects and resource material on a multitude of topics. Rare books, encyclopedias, story books, magazines, journals, reference material and newspapers are available to the students and teachers at all times. Students are encouraged to understand and appreciate the value of the written word.
PLAYGROUND:-
A playground is provided with specially designed play equipment for children and an open ground for different games.
CLASSROOMS:-
All the classrooms are spacious and possess all the essential amenities like furniture, electrical fixtures, green boards, etc. The classrooms are well ventilated with sufficient natural light and air.
COMPUTER CENTRE:-
The Computer Lab houses sufficient higher end computers. Computer learning begins from Std. I.
GENERATOR BACK UP:-
To ensure the smooth running of all classes and activities in proper environment and without any interruptions, the management has installed a 125 KV generator backup system to cover the classrooms, labs and administrative areas.
DINING FACILITY:-
The school has a lunch shed and the stilt area for the students to dine in the lunch recess.
MAZDA HALL:-
The Mazda Hall is a fully air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of about 300 people. The hall has excellent acoustics and has modern, high quality sound equipment installed. Over the years, the Mazda Hall has become the focal point of cultural activities and events and provides students with the perfect backdrop for demonstrating their theatrical, debating and recitation skills.
Payment of the fees:-
SCHOOL FEES :-
School fees are to be paid in the Cosmos Co-Operative Bank Ltd., Pune Camp Branch, 599 Sachapir Street, Pune 411 001, from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., from Monday to Saturday as mentioned below :
The consolidated fees is to be paid in four installments.for classes from Junior Nursery to Std IV and two installments for Pre – Nursery section. The consolidated fees will include Educational Fees, Term Fees, Computer Fees, Karate Fees, School Examination Fees, Medical Fees, and other additional co-curricular activities.

Std I - Between five years six months and six years five months of age as on 1st June
Std II - Between six years six months and seven years five months of age as on 1st June
Std III – Between seven years six months and eight years five months of age as on 1st June
Std IV - Between eight years six months and nine years five months of age as on 1st June.
