Introduction - School Information:-
Vidyankur Pre-Primary a tiny sapling was planted in the year 2001 by a group of friends and well wishers of Fr. Agnel Ashram. The name too was suggested by them. This tiny sapling has now grown to be a tree that provides shade and nurtures around 2400 students. This year the school steps into its 12th year with the first tenth standard batch appearing for its board exams in March 2012.
The school is located in a lush green seven acres plot in Sainikwadi, Wadgaonsheri, Pune. The school is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
We have three divisions for classes up to Std. V and two divisions up to Std. VII. The Secondary Section presently has one division each for Std. VIII to X.
This year we have also introduced a 4th division in L.K.G. due to increasing demand from the parents.

Vidyankur relies on the principles of a secular and non-sectarian technique of meditations such as Vipassana, Anapana, etc. Not only all the teachers and other staff members but even the students (after a particular age) are exposed to the multifold benefits of meditation. The emphasis is on reducing negativities and encouraging healthy, positive, role models for the next generation.

Fr. Agnel Ashram, is an educational complex of Society of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar, India. The parent body of Vidyankur School is an educational institution inspired by the saintly person - Fr. Agnel de Souza. He is familiar and dear, not only to Goans, but to all Indians in general.
Fr. Agnel displayed in his holiness strong traits of an Indian sanyasi. He would spare no measure to annihilate himself so that he could unite with the Ultimate Reality. He saw in all fellow-beings, the image of that same Reality with whom he tried to gain intimate union. We may say Fr. Agnelo led a God – centered life in this world. Riches, Honours, Glory, and Power meant nothing to him.
He was a humble person, never at the centre-stage, his presence went unnoticed. However, he exercised a great spiritual influence on all those who were under his care.

The school has a well furnished computer lab with networking facility, LED monitors and computers with latest the configuration.
CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS & BIOLOGY LABS:-
All the labs are well furnished and have specimens, model charts, microscopes and storage rooms with all the required chemicals.
LIBRARY:-
Vidyankur School has a very good and spacious library which contains more than 6000 books, on various subjects. We have books on literature, health, science, social service, fiction, guides, question papers etc.
KNOWLEDGE CENTER:-
Knowledge center is a computerized library, where teachers organize their own lesson plans, search content, modules, graphics.
MEDITATION ROOM:-
School has promoted meditation since the inception of the school. It follows the techniques of relaxation and concentration. The students and staff enhance their quality of life through meditation.

There is a basket ball court, football field, hockey and throw ball ground and a huge ground to play various other games. There are indoor games such as Chess and table tennis.
COUNSELING ROOM:-
The school provides counseling facility. This is conducted on a regular basis for those students who need extra attention. Counseling helps each child blossom and makes them aware of his / her social responsibilities.

SMARTCLASS Online provides smartclass video modules, calibrated assessments, online learning management systems and learning solutions based on 21st century innovations. We the Fr. Agnel’s VIDYANKUR SCHOOL providing online facility to Teachers and students to prepare themselves out of the campus.
LANGUAGE LAB:-
Importance of English language in this age of globalization cannot be overstated. It is also necessary to acquire proficiency in English at an early age, so that the challenges of tomorrow can be handled with confidence. In order to help achieve this objective, Fr. Agnel’s VIDYANKUR has come up with a unique English learning program- English Mentor which prepares learners to master English language. We have well equipped English lab with the latest hardware. The Language Lab was inaugurated on 15th August 2014.
MULTIPURPOSE HALL:-
A big Multi-Purpose Hall is the centre of considerable activity and has facilities for Seminars, Workshops, Annual Functions and many more activities. It has audio visual features as well as all Powerful stage lights.

General Rules for School Admission:-
The Management reserves to itself the right to give admission
The age criteria for admission to Std I as per the norms laid down by the State of Maharashtra. Admission to higher or lower class will be governed by this rule.
A child who has studied in another recognized school will have to submit a Leaving Certificate from the last school attended.
A Leaving Certificate from a school outside Maharashtra must be countersigned by the Education Officer of Pune.
Parents desiring their children to continue schooling at this school after the Pre-Primary (Sr. K.G.) and Primary (Std. VII) should apply in a prescribed form for admission to Vidyankur Primary School or Vidyankur Secondary School respectively.
Withdrawal:-
A calendar month’s notice in writing must be given before the withdrawal of a student from the school, failing which tuition fees & term fees will be charged.
Students who leave the school in March will have to pay fees for the months of April and May as well.
If no notice of withdrawal is given, full fees for all the months of absence will be charged along with the fines.
Eligibility:-
Nursery : The child should have completed 3 yrs by 30th September 2015.
L.K.G. : The child should have completed 4 yrs by 30th September 2015.
U.K.G. : The child should have completed 5 yrs by 30th September 2015.
Class I : The child should have completed 6 yrs by 30th September 2015.
Fee Information:-
School Fees & Other Fees:-
Fees to be paid monthly or quarterly on or before the 19th of every month/quarter and Term fees and other fees must be paid in June.
Fees will be collected from 7th to 19th of every month between 9am to 12 noon. (Working days only) The Management has the right to revise fees regularly.
Fees for the months of April and May must be paid before the 19th of March every year.
Students will not be allowed to appear for their Term examinations unless fees and other dues are paid upto date.
Parents are requested to choose the mode of fee payment Cash / Cheque. If a parent wishes to change the mode of payment he/she should contact the school office
Fees will be collected in cash or by cheque. Parents will have to pay penalty charges of Rs. 250 for each cheque bounce.
In case a cheque bounces the parent will have to pay fees in cash in future.
