About St. Joseph High School, Pune:-
St. Joseph High school situated near the NCL (National Chemical Laboratory) Pashan, Pune, was established by the Provincial Society of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, a Christian Minority Institution, and aims primarily at the Education of the Catholic Faith and all round development of the child.
The School is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education and the Secondary Section is aided by the Maharashtra Government.
Open to pupils of all castes and creeds. It aims at promoting the development of the child’s piritual, moral, physical, intellectual, aesthetic, cultural, emotional and social aspects.
Academics - All round development:-
Excellence in academics and inculcating moral values are the primary concerns of the institution.
The school believes in the principle of child-centric education.
The introduction of the SMART class and ASSET programmes to encourage the pupils to think creatively.
Students are encouraged to interact with the teachers.
Special coaching is given to slow learners, while challenging activities are assigned to the more enterprising ones.

St. Joseph made a mark in the R.S.P rally by winning many awards while competing with more than 25 schools in Pune.
Sports has always been given priority. Hockey, Basketball, Tennis teams have participated in District, State and National level tournaments and excelled.
NIE is a regular part of our curriculum. Participation in all NIE competitions and activities is encouraged.
Special emphasis and daily news is given on various social occasions in the assembly.

There are special music teachers for the primary and the secondary section.
Every year class picnics and excursions are arranged.
