About J. N. Petit Technical High School:-
The School provides an environment conducive to let each child bloom, as children are like the stars-some shine with their own light while others reflect the light shining upon them. We provide a number of co-curricular activities under the guidance and supervision of Trained Staff.
The School is recognised as a Technical High School by the Department of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. It provides education from Pre-Primary classes to S.S.C. (Std. X). The medium of instruction is English.
The School follows the syllabi prescribed by the State Board of Secondary Education. The technical subjects viz . Turning, Fitting, Electric Wiring, Welding, Machine-Drawing, Computers and Two wheeler Auto Engineering are taught from Standard VIII. In addition to Technical Education, the School provides facilities in drawing, paper - cutting, etc.
It was shifted to the present campus in 1948, when the strength of boys went up. Subsequently, in 1962, due to a growing demand for admission to the School, the doors of the School were opened to students from all castes, creed and religions as Day-Scholars. The School provides hostel facilities to Parsee students only.
The School is located in one of the exclusive localities of Pune on a spacious site of 17 acres. The School building is a four-storeyed impressive complex with spacious class-rooms, science laboratories and workshops.

The School's Academic Year is divided into two Terms:
First Term - June to October
Second Term - November to May
The School's working hours* from Monday to Friday are:
K. G. Classes : 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon
Std. I to X : 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Workshop Timings : After 3 p.m.(StdVIII, IX and X) (Regular)
Working Saturdays : 8.30 a.m. to 12.50 p.m. ( for Stds II to IX )
Workshop Timings : 12.00 noon to 3.00 p.m. (on Working Saturdays - Std. X only )
Workshop Timings : 8.30 a.m. to 11.40 a.m. (on Closed Saturdays - Std. X only )
Summer Timings : 7.40 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. ( Regular School )
Workshop Timings : 12 noon to 4.10 p.m.

Evaluation and Promotion:-
The School follows the modern system of Evaluation for assessment of the progress of students subject to Government directives from time to time. Results of Evaluation are communicated to the Parents through Progress Cards.
Uniform:-
Shirt : Light Blue Terry - cot, half sleeves with one crested pocket on the left.
Shorts : Light Grey Terry - cot, for boys up to Std. VII

Trousers : Light Grey Terry-cot, for boys of Std. VIII, IX & X only
Belt : Nylon belt with school buckle.
Pullover : Grey with yellow stripes on border
Socks : Dark Blue - Nylon
Shoes : Black top with lace and P.T. shoes.
Dress for Games : Navy blue shorts, White T-shirt.
Co-Curricular Activities:-
The School provides a number of co-curricular activities under the guidance and supervision of trained Staff.The students are grouped into four Houses named after great Indian Leaders viz. Dadabhoy, Tata, Phirozeshaw and Nehru.
The School has a number of play-fields and facilities for professional coaching in Football, Cricket, Basketball, Gymnastics and Athletics. The School has an indoor Gymnasium where training is provided in various gymnastic exercises and Malkhamb.

Shiksha Veritas High School is a ICSE school with the aim of providing world class education to the masses at reasonable cost in dhayari pune. Best International Schools in Dhayari Pune.
