Dhole Patil Education Society(DPES) was founded by Young and Dynamic Mr Sagar U. Dhole Patil in the year 2008 with a clear objective of providing quality technical education in tune with international standards and contemporary global requirements. The product of his vision, Dhole Patil College of Engineering (DPCOE) has captured all the forefronts of education including academics, sports and social activity, within a short span.
The main objective here is to prepare the youth for the abstract future and make them capable of meeting the emerging challenges of liberalization, privatization and globalization. The management's commitment to excellence is reflected in the marvellous infrastructure including high end technical support which is comparable to the finest of institutions.
DPCOE offers Bachelor of Education degree in affiliation with Pune University, under five major disciplines namely Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Engineering and Automobile Engineering. To augment and sharpen the techno-commercial skills of engineering pass-outs, DPCOE has added two years course of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Post Graduate Program under Pune University.

Library is a treasure-trove of knowledge for students and faculties. A college library is like a time-machine that takes the students to various technological eras and far-history of human behavioural patterns. At DPCOE, the library is spacious, well ventilated and holds a large seating capacity. The USP of DPCOE Library is its rich collection of technical and soft skill books for Engineering and Management students. Apart from these the library houses autobiographies of entrepreneurs, motivational books, quiz books, journals, research papers and e-journals too. The knowledge bank of the library is so sufficient that it saves the efforts of students in collecting study material from elsewhere. Supportive facilities like printouts, Xerox etc are also available.

To function as the best digital library.
To provide latest and technically advanced online service that enriches the student learning process.
Adequately serve the requirements of teachers and students, towards reading, study and research.
To ensure timely availability of books and study material.
Library Rules and Regulations:-
Entire library is primarily intended for the students &staffs of this college and all students are expected to maintain silence in the library.
Personal belongings are not allowed in stack room, reference section & digital library and eatables are not allowed inside the library.
Students are not permitted to sit in library during their lectures & practical hours.
Following things are not permitted - folding the corners of pages, marking, underlining or highlighting the content or text matter, tearing out the pagers, writing with pen or pencil.
One library card will enable the student to barrow four books at a time. And he/she will responsible for the books barrowed on his/her card.
Books will be issued only on production of library card. Books only issued only to library card holder & not through anybody else.
Ensure to get issued the books on same day for which you have placed the demand slip. Otherwise same books will be issued to next student.
Book/s is issued for one week. It book/s may be reissued for another week through renewal request before 'return due date', if there is no demand from another student for it.
If a student fails to return book/s on return date, he/she will be liable for a fine @ Re. 1/- per day per book.
Current issues of journals / Magazines will not be issued to student for taking outside the library. However old issues of certain journals / magazines may be issued for 2 days.
If book is lost by barrower or damaged to be unserviceable for future use, sum equal to the cost of procuring another copy of the book will be recovered.
Certain valuable / rare books / reference books will not be issued outside the library. However such books will be issued in library / Reading hall only during library working hour.
Loss of library card should be intimated to librarian immediately in writing by mentioning their previous card details. Duplicate card will issue at the cost of Re. 100/- after verification.

About Department: TheDepartment of First Year Engineering was established in the year 2008 with total intake of 240. Initially, First Year started with four courses as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering & Information Technology carried an equal intake of 60 for each course. In 2010, the intakefor MechanicalEngineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering was increased to 120 and in the same year, we received new degree course of Automobile Engineering. First Year department has well equipped laboratories, computer centre with internet connectivity, furnished class rooms and dedicated,experienced faculty members.
