About Lexicon Educational Group Sukhdev and Kamal Sharma Educational Trust was established in the year 1999 by Mr. S.D. Sharma the founder chairman, with the sole aim of imparting high quality education in the field of management education, Technical Education , primary and secondary Education. In a very short span of time the trust has established a business school, CBSE School, Pre-School and Junior college in Pune. Infrastructure:-
The Lexicon International School has state of the art infrastructure with a conducive environment which encourages learning. To start with, we have a beautiful activity hall with a variety of equipment to include new teaching and learning aids. To support electronically aided teaching & learning, we have a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Our IT lab is technically sound with good projectors and computer machines.
Our well lit classrooms help in creating an inviting and a nurturing learning environment. The smart boards installed help the teachers in teaching, using a wide variety of technology and thus stimulating the young minds and promote teaching learning experiences. Our furniture and our teaching aids are child friendly and age appropriate keeping each developmental stage of a child in mind.
Our toddlers hang out is our Pre Primary section,with theme based wall paintings done all over the floor.Our fetish for cleanliness is visible in the campus and we have a house keeping agency working round the clock. Our school playground is equipped with enough swings for kids, manicured side lawns which brings a sheen of happiness on our students faces when they are seen playing around. We are trying to offer the best to our students and will continue providing and improving in the coming years.
Facilities
School Trasport:-
The school has a fleet of buses, with speed governors installed. All the buses have fire extinguishers, medical safety kit and each bus has a lady attendant throughout. The school has ensured to cover all aspects regarding the safety and security of students using the school transport. The transport committee is also formed and is operational.
Smart Boards:-
To enhance tech based education the school has installed smartboards in association with TeachNext which provides a wide CBSE curriculum.
ERP:-
In the pipeline is an ERP system with parents and student login IDs. This system will cover modules like school transactions, complaints, student attendance, admission management, fee management, notice management, online matter for H. W, syllabus planner and tracker, transport management, progress report management and lot more.
Admission Policy:-
Preliminary Forms to be filled on the first visit to the school ----> Sorting of forms by admission counsellor section wise----->Parents will be called for interaction on Saturday.A colour coded worksheet without any name and class written on it ,to be solved by the child and given back to the school. ----->Confirmed list after the draw (for the vacancies/class), will be put up on School notice board on Monday and Thursday at 10 am.------>Confirmation of admissions should be done within 4 days of the declaration of the list.----->Admission procedure closes.------>Dos & don'ts 1. The admission will be granted if the child meets the age criteria as per the school’s policy and the other school norms. 2. The under mentioned documents should be submitted during admission. - Five passport size photographs - Copy of birth certificate - Last progress report card - Proof of current and permanent residential address - Original school leaving certificate for admissions class-1 onwards - In case of B.C, OBC or any backward class kindly submits the certificate. - The age of the child should be 6years in class I as on 1st June of the current academic year, and corresponding ages in the classes thereafter and before too 3. If a child is not of an Indian origin but parents are of Indian origin, then POI (Parents of Indian Origin) card of the parents is mandatory. 4. No written test for students upto class V.

Terms and conditions :-
1. The School Annual fee can be paid in 2 equal installments - 1st at the time of admission & 2nd in the the month of August 2015.
2. Mode of payment - Cash/Demand Draft/Cheque drawn in favour of “The Lexicon International School Kalyaninagar”, payable at Pune.
3. Dishonoured cheques will attract a fine of Rs. 500/-
4. No part payment will be accepted.
5. If a student leaves the school before the end of a Term, fees will be payable for the full Term. Under no circumstances will the fees be refunded or adjusted.
6. The fee schedule given above is subject to change from time to time, at the discretion of The Lexicon International School management. The School will communicate any fee revision to parents.
7. If the admission is cancelled before the start of new academic year, the school is not liable to refund any amount paid.
Teaching methodology:-
The Lexicon International School follows CBSE pattern. The school believes in student centered approach to instruction following an inquiry based and interdisciplinary curriculum involving teamwork, motivation and collaboration of students, teachers, staff and parents.
The focus is on encouraging inquiry, exploration and in inculcating growing confidence in key learning skills like-reading, writing, listening, speaking, information technology, problem solving, management skills and observation skills by following various methods like games, songs, creative projects, debates, quiz, graphic organizers, group discussions, role plays, jolly phonics etc.
As per the CBSE guidelines the school follows CCE (Continuous and comprehensive Evaluation) pattern for assessments.
