Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium school, Balewadi was founded in the year 2001- 2002.
The school is affiliated to the central board of secondary education. It is housed in a special building in pollution free suburb of pune. The educational complex at Balewadi is a fast developing complex in all respects & provides congenial atmosphere for the education.
The school is involved in International project (G.F.L)Gardens For Life with Kenya, United Kingdom & India.
Admission Procedure:- Admission
The names of the children who are selected as per the admission procedure will be displayed on the notice board.
Students offered admission must complete the following formalities before joining, or the offer will stand cancelled and the seat will be passed on to the next student in the 'Waiting List'.
Submission of the evidence of date of birth if not yet given.
Evidence of passing the last class or promotion to present class.
Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school, which should be a recognized school, affiliated to the All India Board or a State Board of Education. Transfer Certificates have to be signed by DEO if transferred from other states.
A medical certificate from a qualified registered doctor showing the record of vaccination/ immunization etc. as well as mention of any particular ailment or health condition about which the school ought to know.
4 Passport size Photographs.
Proof of residence of the child (Copy of Ration card / Voter's ID / Passport).
In case a child is adopted, parents will have to produce attested copy of the adoption certificate issued by the competent authority. In case of divorce/separation, the parent who is admitting the child will have to produce copy of custody of child certificate issued by the competent law officer.
Registration :-
A duly filled form available from the school/website is to be submitted with the non-refundable, non-transferable Registration Fee within 7 days from the date of issue of form or the last date given.
A copy of birth certificate must be attached with the registration form.
Students who have attended other schools need to submit a photocopy of the report card & original leaving Certificate of the previous school.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REGISTRATION DOES NOT IN ANY WAY GUARANTEE ADMISSION.
Admission Test:-
The children who have registered will have to appear for an admission test ,which may be written or oral as laid down by the School for different levels. The test will be held for English, Mathematics and/or any other subject which may be considered necessary.
The selection of the candidates will depend upon the child's performance in the test/ interview and availability of seats in the concerned class.
Assessment of the child for admission is also based on the following factors:
Academic readiness and motivation
Social and emotional development
Family co-operation in working with the school and meeting the needs of the students
Ability of the school to serve the needs of the child
The date of the result of the interview & the last date for the submission of fee will be specified at the time of the test/interview.
Based on the admission test and other criteria, the School reserves the right to admit any student who is found fit for admission or refuse admission without assigning any reason. For all matters related to admissions, the decision of the Principal & admission committee will be final.

Conduct and Character Certificate from the school last attended
Selected candidates may complete all the admission formalities and deposit the fee at the school office within 7 days / given time failing which, he/she will have no claim for the admission later on. In case some of the selected candidates do not take admission, a second list will be brought out.
The principal's decision will be final regarding the placement of a student / allotment of stream / fifth optional subject.

Events:- Lecture on road safety-
On 27th of June 2013,a lecture on road safety was organized in the school campus of Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School, Balewadi under the banner of rotary interact club.
The guest of honor for this function was Mr. Chiraguddin Shaikh police sub inspector traffic, posted at commissioner’s office and the other two guest were hawaldar Dilpak and hawaldar Inamdar, who all guided children on behavior on the road to prevent accidents.
As children are the future of any society their awareness about the surroundings and response to same help them to grow as responsible citizen. Their main aim was to guide student of 8th and 9th std in traffic controlling and to discipline them
Mandatory signs, cautionary signs and informatory signs were explained to the students in a very playful manner. The response from the children was highly commendable.
It was very interesting and interactive session. At the end of program, a hand book on road safety patrol guidelines were distributed among the students by traffic control branch Pune.
Sports:-
We offer cricket, basket ball, badminton, hockey, football, volleyball and various athletic disciplines. We also have an indoor games block equipped with facilities for table tennis, yoga, gymnastics and taekwondo. The school offers a warm, supportive, culturally rich environment where students learn at their own pace and feel good about their accomplishments. They become more sharing, outgoing and learn to work together in teams.
The school organizes early morning coaching throughout the year by experts of various games/sports.

The school encourages children to explore their creativity through plasticine, stencils and activity kits. The activity room is equipped with educational apparatus, toys, puzzles games to aid gross and fine motor skills development. Extra Training For Competitive Exams
" In addition to the regular curriculum of CBSE, extra coaching has been organised in Bharati Vidyapeeth English School, Balewadi,
for the students of XI & XII class in order to prepare them for the competitive examinations like CET, NEET etc.
The school also prepares students for national & international competitions .
School Transport:-
Students can avail school buses, subject to the availability of seats. The routes followed by the buses are drawn up well in advance and the parents should consult the bus in charge, for the necessary details.
Bus Rules:-
No student will be allowed to travel by school bus without the identity card.
Students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.
The buses will not wait for any late-comers.
The children should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stop.
All students must occupy seats immediately after boarding their buses.
The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stops only. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and is not subject to change. No diversion/ extension will be entertained on existing routes.
Object of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus. No student shall act so as to divert the attention of the driver. Such student, if found guilty, is liable to be debarred from traveling by the school buses.
Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism.
No student is allowed to eat in the bus.
Discarding of trash or food either inside or outside the bus is not permitted.
Unruly behavior like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behavior is expected at all times.
List of students and stops will be available in the respective buses.
The driver's attention must not be distracted for any reason.
The bus teachers and students-bus monitors are responsible for maintain in discipline in the buses. Any serious offense must be reported to the Principal.
School transport will be considered for those admitted to the school, if available on the particular route.
School will not be responsible for the unavailability of bus service in the certain areas, or on certain routes, and parents must take this into account at the time of admission or at the times of change of residence.
